When approaching the Ambrosia Juice and Smoothie Cart I first assumed I’d be magically whisked away to Vietnam or Nepal based on the beautiful mural work done on the exterior and full interior.
Susan chopped some ginger as we talked about the cart’s infancy. It is owned by a guy named Cylus (SP?). He just had a baby, so Susan was helping start the place up.
Prices range from $3.50 to about $6.00 for juices, smoothies, and “vegan delecacies”…I’m not sure what those are as they were out, but I can assure you based on my “Blueberry, Peach, Ginger, Apple, Banana Smoothie”, it is probably something good.
The smoothie is floral with the help of the ginger and is served in 12 and 16 ounces. I got a 16 ounce as I was waiting patiently for Hott Box to open in an hour or so and needed the nutrients. It melts fast, but kills Jamba Juice or one of those chain-juiceries.
Yummy time for sure. As I’m not a huge smoothie guy, I can’t really grade this place fair, but I’d love to hear your review as well! 7/10 Finger-Lickin’s
